Communication in Criminal Justice

 Following on your Week 9 Discussion of budgeting, consider the importance of affording the best communication system realistically possible in criminal justice organizations.

For this Discussion, think back to an incident in which communication was poor or below expectations in an agency with which you are familiar. Imagine a new agency CEO has arrived and is seeking ways to improve communication.

ASSIGNMENT:  an explanation of how communication failed in your scenario. 

Explain how to improve department-wide communication to personnel and other stakeholders. 

Then, recommend specific steps to leadership to prevent similar situations. 

Finally, compare your recommendations to best practices in the field.
