Read the article in the Reading and Resources section titled, “State Education Funding Cuts Have Pushed Costs to Students, Worsened Inequality,” and reflect on the following:
- Using the article, research the state that you wish to work in.
- Discuss what has happened to funding in that state, based on the article.
- Using the article, analyze the impact of decreased funding for Black and Hispanic/Latino students.
- Describe the future impact of decreased access for Black and Hispanic/Latino students.
- Propose a possible budgetary strategy to increase college affordability and access.
